Lisa has over 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and adolescents in residential treatment centers. Specializing in trauma, she employs up-to-date techniques and continuously looks to expand her knowledge with new therapy models. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care. Exhibiting a strong clinical base, Lisa utilizes numerous proven modalities when working with Complex Trauma, PTSD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Major Depressive Mood Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, and Personality Disorders. With her client-centered focus, Lisa believes inclusivity is the key to creating interpersonal relationships that promote emotional growth and stability. Lisa earned a BA in Psychology and a MA in Community Mental Health Studies from Webster University in St Louis, Missouri. Married, with four grown children and six grandchildren, Lisa currently resides in southwest Missouri.
